Testifying Experts
Jack Matthews, Ph.D. (Northwestern, 1971), is a Professor in the Graduate School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He teaches courses in quantitative analysis and operations management. He has presented seminars on equipment leasing for managers in Budapest, Lisbon, London, and Warsaw, as well as in many U.S. cities. He also is an expert on the statistical approach to real estate assessment, and has performed such studies for many cities. He has testified in numerous business and contract disputes, as well as in disputes regarding damages from product liability. He is best known for his expertise in the auto industry, having testified more than 30 times in cases involving General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Saab, Acura, Infinity, and Volkswagen.
