Testifying Experts
Mark Browne, Ph.D. (University of Pennsylvania-Wharton School, 1989), is an Associate Professor of risk management and insurance at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He teaches risk management, employee benefits, and health insurance. He has written many articles on health insurance, insurance company operations and regulation, international insurance demand, and claims settlement. He serves on the board of directors of the American Risk and Insurance Association; is past president of the Risk Theory Society; has consulted for many businesses on risk management, insurance, an employee benefits issues; and has been a consultant/expert witness in such cases as John Doe and Richard Smith v. Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company.
