Dan Talmo, Ph.D. (University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1987) is a Vice President. Since joining Christensen Associates, Dr. Talmo has worked extensively on projects for the U.S. Postal Service. He has managed the ongoing estimation of Postal Service Total Factor Productivity and has conducted econometric research into the productivity of Postal Service field units. He has conducted mail characteristics surveys and numerous analyses of revenue and volume data systems to support the U. S. Postal Service in design and implementation of rate proposals. Dr. Talmo has filed testimony and library reference documents for the U.S. Postal Service in several postal rate cases. He has conducted cost studies and revenue and volume analyses for various international mail products. His technical expertise includes mathematical and computer simulation modeling, survey design, statistical analysis, and data base management.
