L. Paul Loetscher, M.S. (Michigan State University, 1993) is a Vice President. Currently, he is involved in developing engineering models of Periodicals mail processing cost and Periodicals mail preparation simulations for the U.S. Postal Service. In the past, Mr. Loetscher has worked to support the U.S. Postal Service in design and implementation of rate proposals. This work has included the design and maintenance of a national database of bulk mail transactions, design and administration surveys of mail preparation and mail processing activities, and the development of engineering models of mail processing. His areas of expertise include sample design, statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, computer simulation models, and database construction and maintenance. Prior to joining Christensen Associates, Mr. Loetscher conducted research as a graduate student in economics, developing experience in theoretical modeling of wage determination.
