Senior Staff
Rita C. Sweeney, M.A. (Princeton University, 1975) is a Senior Economist. She has experience in many areas of labor economics, productivity measurement and analysis, budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, database formulation and analysis, and customer response evaluation. In her 19 years at Christensen Associates, Ms. Sweeney has directed the research and worked as a team member on numerous projects in the utilities, postal, telecommunications, transportation, natural resources, and litigation support practices of the firm. Her work in the labor area includes directing the modeling efforts for labor compensation forecasts, analyzing employee career paths and attrition rates, conducting comparable worth studies, and analyzing the impacts of public policy on labor force participation rates. She has also prepared presentations for several major labor arbitration proceedings. Prior to joining Christensen Associates, Ms. Sweeney was on the faculty of Fordham University where she developed a course on the Economics of Discrimination. She was also on the economic research staffs of the World Bank and the U.S. State Department, where she contributed to public finance studies in developing nations.
