Rajesh Rajaraman, Ph.D. (University of Wisconsin-Madison, 1996) is a Vice President. He specializes in the competitive operation of transmission systems and congestion management in electricity and related markets. Other areas of expertise include evaluation of market power in electricity markets, and costing and pricing of ancillary services. Dr. Rajaraman’s background in computer science has helped him develop sophisticated optimization models for electricity and other applications. His scholarly work has appeared in journals such as the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, Public Utilities Fortnightly and The Electricity Journal.
