Financial Forecasting

Christensen Associates provides financial forecasts to assist private entities and public agencies anticipate economic developments in industrial sectors, regional markets, and the overall economy. Consistent, defensible financial forecasts are essential for businesses to make sound decisions regarding budgets and commitment of capital, and for regulatory authorities to provide diligent oversight.  Our general approach is data driven and largely quantitative.  Depending on the application, we blend statistical analytics, including time-series methods and structural models; institutional considerations, such as pending legislation and rules; and relevant qualitative factors, including client knowledge and insight. We explicitly account for the various dimensions of risks and uncertainty, and benchmark our projections with respect to other publicly available projections when possible. The end result is informed, objective judgments tailored to specific applications and markets.
