Cost Models

Christensen Associates regularly conducts cost studies for utilities, the Postal Service, and other clients. Our team has implemented cost models using a variety of methods, including bottom-up engineering-economic models, econometric cost models, and top-down cost allocation. By emphasizing the institutional details of our clients' industries, we develop more accurate and authoritative cost models. We have extensive experience using data from operational systems in both econometric and engineering-economic models. When key inputs are unavailable from existing sources, we can design and implement observational studies to efficiently develop statistically valid data.
